Star Trek: Review: Mudd’s Women

This was a boring episode but brilliantly executed if you know what I mean. We see an intergalactic pimp exploit women from across the stars who are imperfect but when they take a pill they become beautiful again, for a time. But as we say here in the Caribbean, “Belief kill an’ belief cure!” The pill is a fake and the effects are produced from a belief in them, that they’ll do what is expected of them.

So simply put, they have no power, it’s all in the women’s minds. Eventually one of them see this and stays behind on a deserted planet and the other two remain, with fates unknown. Now it comes together and all is well for one, the others, may God help them.
